Looking at some functional, iconic objects from the 19th Century which could translate well into jewellry less literally than a complete silhouette. I am interested to identify which objects are so recognisable because of their functional features that those features alone can evoke recognition and perhaps the nostalgia usually caught by a more obvious or complete reference.
