Vintage Handbags

I want to make miniature replicas of 19th century handbags to be worn as necklaces or pendants. They are heavily ornate either in the handle metalwork, fabric or both.

I had at some stage come across this image of an old worn-looking keyhole with a picture of a lady seen as if peeping through the keyhole, which I found quite beautiful, but at the same time felt that the look of the actual lock looks just as much as if it has a story as does the image of an actual person. The vinyl record material also holds a narrative, which I think is up to personal interpretation or frame of reference, but it does hold connotations of the past.
