The AngloGold competition allowed me to further investigate Steampunk. In the briefing/workshop regarding the competition the various social "tribes" for which we could choose to design were introduced to us. It re-inforced my self-assurance as far as my B-tech topic goes, in that Steampunk was the only catagory in which i found something to really connect with and get excited about: this being because of it's Victorian reference which falls under the 19th Century.
Going on the anatomical trend in steampunk and the "functional" appearance of its fashion and accecories, we wanted to look at victorian corsets as reference.
